1. Cheesy Wings
What you need:
- 3 pounds of chicken drumettes and wingettes
- ¾ cup of barbecue sauce
- A cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
To make:
Spray a 3 and a half or four quart cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place the chicken wingettes and drumettes in the prepared slow cooker. Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken wings. Cook the wings on a low heat setting for three to four hours. Set the oven control to broil. Line a broiler pan with some foil. Use a slotted spoon or some tongs and place the chicken on the broiler pan. Place the chicken in the oven and broil for about three or four minutes or until the chicken wings are browned. Turn the wings over about half way through the cooking time. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the cheese. Broil for another minute or two until the cheese melts. Serve with the reserved barbecue sauce.
