This tropical fruit originates from the lands of Central America, where the locals use it in a variety of recipes. We love guava juice. The smooth texture and sweetness make it an ideal beverage for the breakfast table.
Guavas have green or light-yellow skin, with an off-pink flesh and edible seeds. Guavas taste great eaten right out of the skin with a teaspoon, but we prefer to juice our fruit into a tasty beverage we can sip on the way to work for a boost of energy in the morning.
Guavas are an excellent source of nutrition, containing significant amounts of Vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants, and almost as much potassium as a banana. Drink guava juice on the way to the gym for a potent pre-workout beverage that gives you the motivation you need to reach your goals.
Guavas are good for the health of your cardiovascular and digestive systems. The antioxidants boost immune response while clearing the bloodstream of free radicals and toxins.
