Okay, so if you’ve just woken up and you want a dish that isn’t necessarily perfect — or even close to it for that matter — but is tasty enough to get you some morning energy without taking hours to prepare, this method of preparation for cowboy caviar might be the ideal option for you.
All you have to do is grab your ingredients, lay them on your cutting board — ideally in an aligned fashion — and then hack away with your butcher’s knife. You don’t have to be very precise with your aim, nor do you have to get very small chunks. Just be sure to watch your fingers otherwise your cowboy caviar will get a surprise ingredient comprised of protein and keratin.
