2. Easy Key Lime Pie
What you need:
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- 1 and ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- Dash of salt
Filling:
- 3 egg yolks
- ½ cup of key lime juice
- Tbsp of key lime zest
- 16 oz sweetened condensed milk
Whipped topping:
- Cup of heavy whipping cream
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Tsp vanilla extract
To make:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a pie plate with cooking spray and set aside. Melt butter and then add in the graham cracker crumbs, salt, and sugar. Mix until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pie plate. Bake for ten minutes, remove from heat and then cool.
Lower oven temp to 325 degrees F. Place the eggs in a bowl and beat. Add in the rest of the filling ingredients and beat until combined. Pour into pie crust and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, allow to cool and then put in the fridge. To make the topping, whip all of the ingredients together until stiff peaks start to form. Pipe the topping on the edges of the pie and serve.
