2. Spicy Fajita Seasoning
Turn up the heat with our next recipe for spicy fajita seasoning. This recipe also works well with chicken or beef, and it makes an excellent seasoning for other Mexican dishes, such as burritos and tacos as well. This recipe has plenty of heat and a slight sweetness to it that compliments the flavors of the fajitas.
2-teaspoons chili powder.
1-teaspoon crushed Himalayan pink salt.
1-teaspoon brown sugar.
½-teaspoon garlic powder.
½-teaspoon onion powder.
½-teaspoon ground cumin.
¼-teaspoon cayenne pepper.
In a medium mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and whisk until combined. Store your spices in a glass mason jar. We try to avoid using plastic due to the phytoestrogens that leech into the seasoning. These estrogens are harmful to your health, especially with men.
The addition of brown sugar in this recipe brings an additional sweetness to the spicy taste. If you have a chili addiction, then this is the spice mix for you.
