Before you reach for the delivery menu and order your quesadillas from your favorite Mexican restaurant, why not have a go at making them yourself?

We put together this list of 12-tips for making quesadillas. Read through our tricks of the trade, and get to work in the kitchen on making your favorite recipe!

1.    Use Organic Ingredients

Shopping for ingredients is the most crucial part of making the perfect quesadillas. The quality of ingredients matters, and determines the final taste, texture, and nutrition in the meal. Using sub-standard meat and vegetables isn’t worth the hassle, spend a few bucks extra on your ingredients and your family will thank you when it comes time to sit down at the dinner table.

Shop for your ingredients locally. Introduce yourself to your local butcher and find out where they source their meat. Good butchers will use free-range farmers for their beef, chicken, and pork. It’s vital that you avoid any commercially produced meat. Factory farms feed their animals feed enhanced with hormones and antibiotics to speed growth in the livestock and prevent outbreaks of disease.

Visit a farm stall this weekend and take a look at all of the organic produce on display. Organic farmers don’t use pesticides in their crops, only natural biomass fertilizer.
