2. Mix the Wet Ingredients
To make the dough, you are going to first put the milk and butter into a medium-sized pan. You’ll then heat this very gently on the hob, allowing it to come to a warm temperature so that the butter will melt and so that the milk is just simmering.
Once it has melted and mixed together, you will then allow the mixture to cool off for a few minutes. Now add in the eggs and beat them with a fork. Again, the objective is to get them to mix nicely, resulting in a silky texture – not allowing them to start turning into the cream at which point you know you’ve gone too far!
