2 Classic Trifle Without Sherry
A little bit of alcohol is part of what makes a trifle, well, a trifle! This is especially true at Christmas when most of us are used to getting a little bit of alcohol for the occasion!
However, you will find that it isn’t always appropriate to drink sherry! If you plan on driving, or if you’re serving for young kids, then you may well wish to swap this out. In that case, you can simply opt to leave out the sherry. Of course, this is going to leave you with a little less in your trifle though, so a simple solution is to up the amount of pear juice you use up to 150ml. Alternatively, look for a substitute. Apple juice works quite well!
