3. Lemon Cannoli
These lemon cannoli are easy to make and are the perfect refreshing snack for a summer day.
Ingredients
- Refrigerated Pie Crust
- Egg
- Water
- Lemon curd
- Marshmallow fluff
- Frozen whipped topping
- Lemon zest
Directions
- Turn the oven to 425 degrees to preheat it.
- Spray the cannoli molds with cooking spray.
- Remove the pie dough from the fridge and unroll it on a floured surface.
- Cut it into equal circles.
- Mix the egg and water together to create an egg wash.
- Wrap each of the squares around the cannoli molds and use the egg wash to seal them.
- Place the cannoli on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown.
- Allow them to cool.
- Make the filling by mixing the marshmallow fluff and the lemon curd together in a bowl.
- Pour into a plastic bag and snip the end of it.
- Squeeze the content into the cooled cannoli shells.
- Add the zest of a lemon to the cannoli before serving.
