2. Instant Pot BBQ Chicken Sliders
It there a simpler meal than sliders? Our BBQ chicken recipe tastes delicious for lunch or served with some sweet potato fries for a leisurely evening meal.
4-Frozen chicken breasts.
1-teaspoon Chipotle seasoning.
Crushed Himalayan pink salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
2-cups BBQ sauce.
Trim the chicken breasts and remove the excess skin and fat from the meat. Season the chicken breast with the chipotle seasoning and dust with salt.
Add the chicken breast to the instant pot, along with one cup of purified water. Lock the lid of the Instant Pot, and seal. Close the steam valve of the appliance and push the “manual” button. Set the timer for 15-minutes.
Prepare the buns by cutting them in half. Lightly toast the buns under the broiler for 1-minute until the edges start to brown. Remove from the grill and coat each half of the roll with grass-fed butter – set aside.
Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot, and shred in a bowl using two forks. Add the BBQ sauce and toss to combine. Spoon the chicken onto the rolls and serve with your favorite sides.
