3. Stuffed Pork Chops
These stuffed pork chops are fancy and down home at the same time. This dish can be dressed up or dressed down according to the occasion.
1 6 ounce package of suffing mix
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 10 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
¼ cup of milk
1 green apple, chopped
⅓ cup chopped walnuts
10 boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons of oil
Make the stuffing according to the directions on the package. When it is cooled, add chopped apple and nuts. Put seasoned salt and pepper in another bowl. Put mushroom milk in another bowl and stir thoroughly. Cut open a thick part of the pork chop and fill the opening with stuffing. Top with seasonings. Put the stuffed pork chops in a lightly greased dutch oven and pour soup and milk mixture on top. Boil and then reduce to simmer. Cooked 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for five minutes.
