2. Baked Camembert with Sun-Dried Tomatoes
What’s Christmas without a Camembert cheese wheel. This soft and delicious cheese tastes best when it’s fresh out of the oven. Camembert cheese is the ideal appetizer and tastes way better than other string cheeses like Stilton and blue cheese. While everyone’s anxiously waiting for the turkey dinner, let them snack on this fantastic recipe to cure his or her ravenous hunger.
INGREDIENTS
8-oz. Camembert cheese wheel.
2-cloves garlic, sliced.
1-tablespoon melted coconut oil.
¼-cup sundried tomatoes.
1-tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped.
Crackers or biscuits for serving.
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 375F. Remove the cheese from the packaging and place on a baking tray lined with wax paper. Top the cheese with sundried tomatoes, thyme, and garlic. Drizzle a little coconut oil on top and place it in the oven for 10-minutes until the cheese goes soft.
Remove from the oven and let the cheese stand for 10-minutes before serving warm with crackers and cheese biscuits.
