3. Nutmeg Peach Cobbler
Get a medium bowl then pour three tablespoons of sugar, three tablespoons of salt, and a generous serving of flour into the bowl. Use a pastry blender until the mixture becomes crumbly. Grab a smaller bowl then fill it with cold water and add some eggs.
Sprinkle some flour on the top of the mixture and then work the mixture until it becomes a ball of dough. Get your oven up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure that it’s ready for the baking to come.
Take half of your dough and roll it to a ⅛-inch thickness. Put it in a large baking dish, around 9×13 inches, and then use the dough to cover the bottom and sides of the dish. Bake the dough until it adopts a golden brown color, which should take around 20 minutes.
Grab a saucepan then mix the lemon juice, orange juice, and peaches. Add half a cup of butter and then cook the mix until the butter melts. Grab a mixing bowl then fill it with cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and two cups of sugar.
Stir the mix together until they’re completely blended, then mix it in with the peaches. Take it out from the heat and then pour the mixture into the golden baked crust.
