INGREDIENTS
6-red Bartlett pears, (medium-sized,) peeled, cored and sliced.
4-oz. Dark chocolate.
4-oz. White chocolate.
6-oz. Unsalted almonds, chopped.
METHOD
Place the dark chocolate in a microwavable bowl and heat for 30-seconds. Stir the chocolate and return to the microwave for another 30-seconds. Repeat this process until the chocolate melts. Use the same method to melt the white chocolate as well.
Place the chopped almonds in a bowl. Pierce toothpicks into the pear slices and dip half into the dark chocolate and the other half into the white chocolate. Dust with chopped almonds and serve.
