5. Southwest chicken soup
This is a great tasting, filling, and detoxifying chicken dish that you will be sure to love. It’s also gluten-free, low-fat, and low-carb. The ingredients for this soup include boneless, skinless chicken breasts, avocados, broccoli florets, cabbage, chopped carrots, garlic cloves, chopped onion, canned fire-roasted tomatoes, red pepper, black pepper, salt, turmeric, olive oil, and cumin.
To make the soup, place a large pot over medium heat and add in the olive oil, chopped onions, and garlic. Saute until softened. Add in chicken breast, green chiles, tomatoes, broth, carrots, and all of the spices. Turn the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken. Add the broccoli and cabbage to the pot and simmer until they are both softened. Shred the chicken breast and stir it back into the soup.
