3. Chicken Soup
Chicken soup is another particularly effective soup that will prove comforting and healthy. Cut your chicken up into small bits and then boil in hot water with your stock. Keep this simmering for a long time to make your chicken nice and soft so that it can be enjoyed with a spoon.
Now choose what else you want to add. You can add vegetables for instance if you want something that will act as a whole meal, or you can add cream if you want to make it richer. Bacon goes well in here, and you can even consider adding just a little broccoli – but cook it down. Noodles are also a popular choice. This one goes best with either a chicken or a vegetable stock.
