3 – Double Tomato Bruschetta
Double tomato bruschetta is an easy dish to make that’s very delicious. The balsamic vinegar in the recipe adds some zing to the flavor. It’s worth noting that you can substitute dried basil with fresh basil if you want. Start by preheating your oven set to the broiler setting.
Put some Roma and sun-dried tomatoes in a large bowl together with olive oil, garlic, vinegar, basil, pepper, and salt. Let the mixture sit there for 10 minutes or so. Cut a baguette into ¾-inch slices and then arrange them on baking shit.
Once the tomato mixture is well cooked, distribute it evenly across all the baguette slices. Top the baguettes with mozzarella cheese and then broil them until the cheese melts. This usually takes around five minutes.
Some use shredded cheese, but mozzarella slices are easier to eat without the cheese falling through the edges. Using slices over shredded cheese also holds your tomato mix in place whenever you take a bite out of the baguette.
