If you woke up in a panic and thought you missed breakfast, then relax. The leftovers are still waiting for you in the fridge. What’s a better way to start the day than with brunch? Pull the food out of the fridge and get creative with this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1-½-cup shredded turkey leftovers.
8-oz. Crescent rolls.
1-tablespoon melted grass-fed butter.
1-cup stuffing leftovers.
1-cup leftover mashed potatoes.
1-cup cranberry sauce leftovers.
1-tablespoons garlic powder.
Leftover gravy, for dipping.
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish.
METHOD
Preheat oven to 350F. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate each into a triangle. Arrange on a greased baking tray in a flower shape with triangles pointing to the edge of the sheet with the base overlapping.
Spread mashed potatoes leftovers over the triangles to create a ring. Top with cranberry sauce and turkey. Fold the triangle tips back over and brush the dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with herbs and bake for 15 to 20-minutes until golden brown. Dust with garlic powder and serve with reheated gravy for dipping.
