2. Burgers
Believe it or not, you can make burgers from coconut flour! This is just the same recipe as you would normally use for making burgers (take your ground beef, mix with egg and flour, cook) but it is now safe for a celiac. It also works just as well as the original recipe and is extremely tasty to eat!
What’s more, is that you can make burgers in a variety of different ways to mix up the flavors. For instance, why not throw in some red onion for something a little sweeter? Or how about some cheddar for a delicious cheeseburger?
Then there are all the ways you can garnish the meat and fill the bun. You have options like adding jalapenos on top if you want to make the meal a little bit spicier with a kick. Then there’s more cheese and red onion, salad, gherkins.
Of course, if you’re making gluten-free burgers you’ll want to stay away from the normal buns (if you do not then choose brioche for a touch of class and flavor). In that case, you do have a few other options such as using two sides of a large mushroom in order to encase your burger. This is delicious and even more healthy than the usual method!
Or how about making a naked burger? That’s simply a burger without the bun. It’s all meat… so what isn’t to like!
