2. Pork Chops with a Parmesan Crust
What you Need:
2 large eggs
A cup of Italian bread crumbs
¾ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
10 ounces of pork loin chop ½ to ¾ inches thick
Salt and pepper to taste
6 tablespoons of olive oil
Lemon wedges to serve
To make:
Gather three shallow dishes. In the first, whisk the eggs. In the second place the bread crumbs, and in the third place the cheese. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Next, coat the chops with the cheese and then dip into the eggs.
Finally, cover the pork chops with the bread crumbs. Make sure to pat after each step to adhere. Heat up some oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the pork chops and cook until the center reaches a temperature of 150 degrees.
This will take about six minutes for each side. Transfer the pork chops to plates and serve with the lemon wedges.
