2. Pepperoni
Second, only to the mozzarella pizza in terms of popularity is the pepperoni pizza. And this one is similarly incredibly simple.
To make this one, you are simply going to take your mozzarella recipe and then you’re going to add pepperoni. This is tangy, spicy, but generally not enough to be overwhelming for those that don’t like spicy food. This also adds yet more protein to a meal that is already actually rather rich in protein – a typical half a pizza will get you about 30 grams of protein before you even add the pepperoni!
Pepperoni is actually pretty greasy but when you cook it, that grease runs out and while it probably shouldn’t be… it tastes delicious!
