1. Old School Cheese Pizza
Let’s start with a classic recipe that everyone loves – the cheese pizza. It’s so easy to make this masterpiece with a few simple ingredients. Dough, sauce and cheese, that’s it, no fuss whatsoever. This meal is all about convenience. Cut the prep time in half with a store-bought tomato sauce and ready-made pizza dough base. For those who have Celiac disease, make sure you choose a gluten-free base. If your concerned about the lack of greens with this meal, serve a salad on the side.
The steps to success;
Place a baking tray on the bottom rack of your oven, and another on the middle setting. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
Remove the base from the plastic sheath and give it a brush with some extra-virgin olive oil. Warm the dough for 5 to 8-minutes on the bottom oven rack.
Pull out your dough and spread the sauce over the base, leaving a ¼-inch border around the circumference. Throw on the mozzarella in generous heaps and garnish the top of the pie with a sprinkle of parmesan. Return it to the oven and bake for another 10 to 12-minutes or until the base is golden brown. Cut into 8-slices, serve and enjoy.
