4. Storing Pork Tenderloin
When you purchase a pork tenderloin you will want to make sure that you store it in the refrigerator. Make sure that you put it in the fridge as soon as possible after purchasing it. The meat will stay good for about two or three days in the refrigerator.
If you are not planning to use the pork tenderloin within a couple of days you will want to make sure that you store it in the freezer. You can store a pork tenderloin in the freezer for up to six months. If you have frozen a pork tenderloin and wish to use it, you need to be prepared. A standard pork tenderloin will take roughly sixteen hours and possibly up to 24 hours to thaw, depending on the size of the tenderloin. It is important to plan ahead if you are freezing pork tenderloin as you want to give it plenty of time to thaw before you plan to use it for a meal.
