4 Fresh Salad Ketchup
Many times we make ketchup and we think of it as being a sauce that you add to fried meats and unhealthy hot food.
But actually, you can add different types of ketchup to all kinds of things – including a fresh, cold salad. In particular, this will work well if you use fresh, cold ingredients.
Take some cherry tomatoes, chop them into halves, and then add them into a bowl with some chopped red pepper, some salt, and some courgettes. Blend this mixture together and you’ll have something that is fresh, tangy, and extremely healthy to add to any of your meals.
Adding fresh tomatoes to any meal will instantly make it healthier. As mentioned, this is an excellent source of antioxidants. Antioxidants meanwhile are compounds that work in the body to neutralize the effects of free radicals – those being molecules that cause damage to the cells on impact. Free radicals can eventually cause enough damage to add up to external, visible signs of aging. Worse though, they can sometimes break all the way into the nucleus of the cell where they can cause genetic defects.
