4. Choco Caramel Apple
Now here’s a pair of flavors that were made for each other. Chocolate and caramel are like yin and yang. Many of our favorite chocolate bars combine the two elements to give us a taste and texture sensation that we all love, so why don’t you combine the two for yourself and wrap a bunch of apples up in the middle for good measure? You know it makes sense.
When it comes to coating the apples, it can get a little tricky, and it’s likely that you won’t end up with the same smooth texture that you might expect from using just the caramel, but if you can turn a blind eye to a few little bumps and bruises, you’ll be rewarded with the ultimate example of a caramel apple. Coat your apples in the chocolate spread or dip them in melted chocolate just a couple of seconds before the caramel. Spread from the refrigerator works well, as the coldness shocks the caramel and encourages it to harden a little faster. They might not be pretty to look at, but they sure are delicious.
