3 Healthy Gingerbread Cookies
Okay, so gingerbread is not a health food as we’ve already established. But ginger is something of a superfood, in fact, it can help to combat nausea, it is anti-viral, it improves perspiration, and it’s anti-inflammatory. Better yet, it is very effective at combating high blood sugar and is very good for diabetes. So much so, that many people suffering from Type 2 diabetes are recommended to take ginger!
To benefit from these health properties then while still enjoying a delicious snack, you can follow this recipe: take 165g of white whole wheat flour, 3/4tsp of cornstarch, 1/4tsp of baking powder, 1.5tsp of ground ginger, 1/4tsp of ground cinnamon, 1/4tsp of salt, 2tbsp of coconut oil, 1 large egg, 1.5stp vanilla extract.
To prepare, you’re going to whisk together the dry ingredients, then whisk together the butter, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Add the two mixtures and then mix to make a dough. You know the rest!
