4. Oven Temperatures
Frying isn’t the only way to crispy potatoes. You can also bake them. If you choose to bake them, you need to make sure the oven is set to the right temperature. Many people bake their potatoes at a temperature that is too low. If you want your potatoes to get crispy, you need to bake them at a higher temperature. There is a fine line between the perfect temperature for crisping and one that is too high and will easily burn the potatoes.
In most cases, you should bake them at 425 degrees until the outside of the potatoes is golden brown. Now only will this temperature give you perfectly crisp potatoes on the outside, but it will make them soft on the inside. You do need to keep an eye on the potatoes when they are baking as such hot temperatures, as they can easily burn. When you remove them from the oven, be sure to season them properly.
