4. Tzatziki with Garlic and Dill
We twist the classic tzatziki recipe with the addition of garlic and dill in this recipe. Put it together in minutes and serve with pita bread for dipping.
INGREDIENTS
2-cups Greek yogurt.
2-cups English cucumber – grated.
½-cup minced fresh dill.
¼-cup pure lemon juice.
2-cloves minced garlic.
½-teaspoon crushed Himalayan pink salt.
¼-teaspoon cracked black pepper.
METHOD
Grate the cucumbers and wring out all moisture before patting dry with paper towels – set aside for later.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic – whisk to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add more dill or garlic to improve the flavor profile of the tzatziki.
Fold in the Greek yogurt, and combine. Season with salt and pepper and serve with pitas cut into quarters on the side. If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
