2. Slow-Cooked Macaroni and Cheese
If you thought mac and cheese involved making a separate white sauce and an oven finish, think again. To make the easiest, most melt-in-your-mouth macaroni ever, use the following ingredients: 1 pound macaroni, 1/2 cup melted butter, 4 cups grated Cheddar cheese, 4 oz. cream cheese, 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan, 24 oz. evaporated milk, 2 cups whole milk, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/8 teaspoon. Paprika, salt, and pepper. Freshly ground is best.
Combine the macaroni, butter, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, finely grated Parmesan, evaporated milk, whole milk, garlic powder, and paprika. Season everything with salt and pepper. You’ll need to cook this for 2 to 3 hours on high, until the sauce is thickened. Start checking at the 2-hour mark, then every 20 minutes after that. The result? The most gloriously gooey macaroni fest your mouth has ever been a party too!
