4. Peach barbecued mini hot dogs
This appetizer takes a little longer to prepare, but since it cooks in a crockpot, you can start it before your event and don’t have to stand in the kitchen. Ingredients include mini hot dogs, prepared barbecue sauce, canned peach preserves, jarred chili sauce, and ground cayenne pepper. To make it, spray your crockpot with cooking spray or line it with a crockpot liner.
Place the mini hot dogs in the crockpot. In a bowl, combine the prepared barbecue sauce, jarred peach preserves, canned chili sauce, and ground cayenne pepper. Mix until well blended. Pour the mixture over the top of the hot dogs and blend it all together. Cover the crockpot and cook on high for about 2 hours (4 hours on low heat). Pour the hot dogs into a serving dish or set out the crockpot!
