3. Maple and Soy Glazed Salmon
What you need:
2-pound salmon fillet
½ cup pure maple syrup
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 minced garlic clove
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
To make:
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper over a cookie sheet. Place the salmon onto the parchment. Sprinkle both sides of the fish with some salt and pepper. Place the fish in the preheated oven and cook for about five minutes. While the fish is cooking, mix the soy sauce, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and garlic together.
Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the glaze. Return the fish to the oven and cook for about five more minutes or until the fish begins to flake and change color. Microwave the rest of the glaze for about 30 seconds. Remove the salmon from the oven and top with the rest of the warmed glaze and serve with your favorite sides.
