4. Storing Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
After you have baked your wonderfully delicious strawberry rhubarb pie you are going to want to make sure that you store it properly.
Most strawberry rhubarb pies can be stored for up to 36 hours at room temperature, if it lasts that long. If you are planning to make the pie ahead, it is best to cover it with some foil and then place it in the refrigerator. If the pie lasts in the fridge for more than five days, it is a good idea to wrap it up tightly and put it in a ziplock bag and throw it in the freezer. You can thaw it out in the refrigerator or on the counter.
If you prefer to eat the pie warm you can always heat it up in the microwave and then enjoy a warm slice. You can also throw it in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up the crust.
