5. Ravioli Pops
Whether you are planning a meal for a fancy occasion, a cocktail party or even a kids’ party, these ravioli pops are bound to be a hit.
½ cup of bread crumbs
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
⅓ cup flour
2 large eggs
1 10-ounce package of cheese ravioli
Oil for frying
Marinara sauce or pesto
Mini-Skewers or lollipop sticks
Set out three small bowls. Beat the eggs in one bowl. Put the flour in another bowl. Combine the breadcrumbs and spices in another bowl. Cook the ravioli in a pot of salted water according to directions. Drain ravioli. Coat the ravioli with flour and shake off. Dip in egg and then in breadcrumbs. Fry each ravioli and repeat the process. Fry for about 1 or 2 minutes and flip each ravioli. Drain on paper towels, top with parmesan cheese and put each ravioli on a stick.
