4. Peaches and Cream Bread Pudding
In summer when peaches are in full swing, this is the perfect dessert to use up stale bread as well as showcase the ripe and juicy peaches. You can choose either freestone or cling peaches, the difference is really how easily the flesh comes off the pit. Yellow peaches have a more intense and tart peach flavor, while white peaches are more floral and mellower.
Depending on what you’re going for, you can use them interchangeably. Then whipping up a batch of your own whipped cream to top with this decadent dessert will make everyone go back for extras. Make sure you use heavy cream for whipping since some brands of cream have stabilizers in it that prevent it from becoming whipped.
