3 Try an Egg
You might find that the bread crumbs have a hard time sticking to the ham/chicken/pork. Don’t worry, this is normal! To solve that problem though, you can try using an egg instead. More precisely, you might want to use just the white from an egg. Empty egg white into a bowl by cracking an eggshell then rocking the contents back and forth. You’ll find that the white empties out through the crack, but the yolk continues to move backward and forward inside.
Now keep this to one side in a separate bowl or ramekin and then dip the meat into here, before sprinkling the breadcrumbs on top. The egg will act as an adhesive, and this will allow the breadcrumbs to attach and remain there.
The egg actually also just goes very well with this whole mixture. So another way you can ‘try an egg’ is to add a fried egg on top!
