3. Custom Mayo Slaw
If you felt that you were cheating in that last recipe by using mayonnaise, then never fear: you can make your own mayo if you prefer and that way have a much more authentic alternative that you will use instead.
To make this piece of the puzzle, you are going to take egg yolks, vinegar, and mustard, and then mix them together for ten seconds. Slowly draw the blender up to incorporate all of the oil, and then repeat this process several times. You’ll be left with a delicious, creamy, thick mayo that you can then use in a variety of ways. This is fantastic on fries, but it also of course is a crucial ingredient in any coleslaw.
In fact, if you make the super simple slaw and then just add on some mayo, then this will create a very tasty salad that works incredibly well.
