2. Added Flavor and Zest
To make this, you are going to need half a cup of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of white sugar, one and a half tablespoons of lemon juice, one tablespoon of white vinegar, a teaspoon tablespoon of salt, and half a teaspoon of pepper.
What you’re going to do in this case then, is to mix together the mayonnaise, the sugar, the lemon juice, the white wine vinegar, and the seasoning in a large bowl. Makes sure that they’re properly combined, and then whisk them together in order to ensure that they’re nice and creamy rather than lumpy.
Now you’re going to add this on top of the super simple slaw we already saw, so that it nicely coats those thin strips of veg.
Finally, place this into the fridge and let it sit for about 2 hours to go nice and cool.
While the original mixture is the basis for pretty much any coleslaw you will make going forward, this combination is what we generally think of as coleslaw and is almost just as easy – an incredibly convenient option for making a host of different meals that bit tastier.
