5. Place Into Blender
Now you are going to strain the water out of the seeds. You can do this using a strainer, a sieve, or a cullender. If you don’t have any of those things, then you can even use a number of other things to sift out the water. For instance, one of the best ways of doing this is simply to run it through a strong kitchen towel!
Either way, you want a blender to be full of just the seeds. You’ll then run the blender multiple times in order to break these up. The blender will need to be run more than just once in order to be effective here as otherwise you will find you don’t break all the seeds and the result will be something that tastes very strong and that has lots of large lumps in it. This is a little different from the experience of blending other fruits, so you can’t overdo it! If in doubt, run it another time!
Keeping a good blender in the kitchen is something that anyone interested in boosting their health should do. This will allow you to make a large number of different juices, smoothies, soups, and much more. These provide a brilliant way to get multiple nutrients at once and can be very quick and easy to enjoy as well. Just be careful about all that sugar – even when it comes from the fruit it can be harmful to your teeth so try to limit your smoothies to one a day.
