5. Avoid Seafood Fillings
Seafood is terrific, and we are big fans of a Bluefin tuna steak seared on the grill. The flavor of a fresh tuna steak excites the senses and brings the taste buds to life. Seafood comes packed with flavor and protein, but it’s not an ideal filling for your quesadillas.
When cooking quesadillas, we recommend that you stick to vegetarian or pork, beef, and chicken fillings. Forget about adding seafood like shrimps, fish, and other seafood’s to your quesadillas, the flavor of the cheese drowns out all of the seafood flavors, resulting in a bland meal that will put you off the recipe.
Stick to using time-tested meats and veggies that are proven to work. There’s nothing wrong with experimenting with your quesadilla recipe, after all, no-one’s going to get hurt but your family when they sit down to the dinner table to eat. However, a little research into favorite recipes will save you from making horrible mistakes with your quesadillas.
