4. Tuna Fish
Tuna fish is another ‘wonder food’. Not only is this a source of amino acids – which we’ll explain shortly are among the most important ingredients for extending lifespan – but it is also a rich source of omega 3 fatty acid.
You’ve probably heard of omega 3 fatty acid. That’s because it is among the most beneficial nutrients that we know of right now.
Firstly, omega 3 fatty acid is incredibly good for your brain. It has been shown to combat against the signs of cognitive decline associated with aging such as forgetfulness, as well as more abnormal issues such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. On top of this, omega 3 fatty acid is also able to combat the effects of omega 6 – which we get too much of in our diets thanks to its being added to pretty much everything going.
When you have too much omega, this lowers your amount of omega 3 and leads to inflammation. That, in turn, can cause everything from visible signs of aging to arthritis, to low mood and energy. Omega 3 will combat this and help you to start feeling healthier and better than you have in a long time!
