3. Sautéed Brussel Sprouts With Bacon and Raisins
Raisins are great for adding a little sweetness to a savory dish. When you combine their sweet flavor with the bitterness of Brussel sprouts, you get a delicious meal that is sure to please anyone.
Ingredients
- Apple cider vinegar
- Golden raisins
- Brussel sprouts
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bacon
- Red onion
Directions
- Preheat the oven at 425 degrees.
- In a pan, heat the vinegar and raisins. Let it cooks for about 15 minutes.
- Add the Brussel Sprouts, oil and seasoning to a baking sheet and toss with your hands to incorporate all the ingredients.
- Bake the Brussel sprouts for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Cook the bacon until crispy and then crumble it.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and place it on a paper towel.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook until soft. Add the onions, bacon and Brussel sprout mixture to a serving bowl and toss.
- Add salt and pepper to taste before serving.
