2. Maple Orange Chicken Wings
This savory dish is an excellent mix of the spicy, sweet, sour, and salty taste.
For two servings you will need about 10-12 chicken wings, 3 cloves of garlic (minced), 1 green onion (sliced), 2 tablespoons of butter, ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes, ½ cup of fresh orange juice, ½ cup of maple syrup, vegetable oil, and salt to taste.
Season the chicken wings with pepper, salt, and oil, then bake for about 40 minutes in an oven at 400 degrees F. Meanwhile, prepare a mixture of red pepper flakes, garlic, orange juice, butter, salt, and maple syrup in a saucepan and simmer until reduced to ½ cup. After 40 minutes have passed, take out the wings and brush the sauce all over them. Bake for another 10 minutes. Place the wings on a plate, season with more glaze, and sliced green onion. Serve hot.
