5. Maple Peach Cobbler
This next recipe is one that everyone loves. Even my relatives who loathe anything sweet can’t resist but dig into this peach cobbler. The dish becomes even more delicious when you add some ice cream or whipped cream to it.
Start by preheating your oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit — easy to remember since it’s one degree for every day of the year. Coat a 2-quart baking dish in a layer of butter and then melt a small slice of it in the oven.
Grab a medium bowl then stir some milk together with flour and sugar until all the ingredients have blended well together. Pour this mix over the melted butter.
Place the baking dish back in the oven and then bake it for half an hour until you see the crust rise and take on a brownish tint. Take the dish out and let it cool before adding some maple syrup and peach slices to the crust. Top off with some whipped cream or ice cream and you’re done.
