3. Snowman Cookies
Cute and delicious – that’s the best way to describe these cookies. It’s time to build a snowman, and we’re going to do it in the kitchen instead of outside.
INGREDIENTS
1-box Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix.
1-large egg.
½-cup unsalted butter softened.
1-packet vanilla-flavored candy coating.
Black sugar pearls.
Granulated sugar.
Orange sprinkles.
Festive sprinkles.
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350F. Take a medium mixing bowl and add the cookie mix with the butter and eggs, beat until the dough begins to form. Roll half of the mix into ping-pong-sized balls and place on a baking tray lined with wax paper. Press the balls down slightly with the back of a spoon.
Roll the remaining dough into marble-sized balls and place them on top of the others without flattening. Bake in the oven for 10-minutes until the edges turn golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool before frosting.
Microwave, the candy coating in a bowl for 30-seconds, repeat until it melts. Spoon over the cookie to cover. Place two black pearls for the eyes, and the orange sprinkles for the nose. Use as buttons on the lower half.
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5-days.
