3. Pumpkin Peppers
Carving pumpkins is an age-old Halloween tradition and it’s something that a lot of people enjoy doing at Halloween. But why stop at pumpkins?
Pumpkins lend themselves particularly well to being carved because they are rigid, they stand up on their own, and they can be hollowed out.
So can several other fruits and vegetables though! And one of the best examples is the pepper. Take a red, green, or yellow bell pepper, hollow it out, and then carve a sinister face into the top. The great thing about this is that you can now turn this into either a sweet or savory snack – or even a meal! Stuffed red peppers with rice, tomato, and other ingredients is a healthy and delicious snack.
