4. Guava and Pomegranate Juice
If it’s a hot day outside and you feel like a refreshing drink, give this idea for guava and pomegranate juice a try. This recipe is delightfully sweet, and best served as a smoothie to keep it as cold as possible.
INGREDIENTS
3-guavas – sliced into quarters.
1-pomegranate – halved.
3-tablespoons brown sugar.
A pinch of crushed Himalayan pink salt.
3-teaspoons pure lemon juice.
6-ice cubes.
1-cup purified water.
METHOD
Cut up the guavas into quarters and remove the seeds. Scoop out the flesh from the fruit using a teaspoon and add it to the blender along with the sugar, salt, lemon juice, and purified water. Peel the pomegranate and add the seeds to the blender.
Blend on high for 1-minute until all ingredients combine. Strain the juice into a pitcher using a strainer to remove the pulp. Return the strained juice to the blender and add 10-ice blocks. Blend on high to crush the ice. Serve chilled.
