5. Guava and Pineapple Juice
This recipe makes an excellent juice that tastes fantastic on its own or as an addition to summer cocktails – it’s a must-have recipe for anyone entertaining guests.
INGREDIENTS
3-guavas – cut into quarters.
½-fresh Pineapple – peeled and chopped into chunks.
½-cup purified water.
½-tablespoon brown sugar.
½-teaspoon crushed Himalayan pink salt to taste.
METHOD
Start your recipe by chopping up the pineapple and guava into quarters. Remove the seeds for the guavas and scoop the flesh out into a bowl using a teaspoon. Add the guava flesh to the blender, along with the cubed pineapple. Toss in ½-cup of purified water, along with the sugar and salt,
and blend on high for 30-seconds. Strain the juice through a strainer and discard the pulp. Return the juice to the blender, along with 15-ice cubes – mix on high until combined. Serve chilled in a tall glass with a slice of pineapple on the rim for garnish.
