6. Drunken Chicken
This great recipe for beer can chicken uses cajun seasonings and a crab boil to provide flavor. Here is what you need:
- A whole chicken
- 1 ½ tbsp of cajun seasoning salt
- Can of beer
- An ounce of liquid crab boil
To make:
Place a piece of foil on top of your grill, then preheat the grill on medium. Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Season the chicken with the cajun seasoning. Open the beer and pour out about an ounce. Add the liquid crab boil. Pour the beer and crab boil mix onto several areas of the chicken. Make sure to keep at least half of the liquid in the can. Slide the chicken over the beer can. Place on the grill and cook for about two hours or until cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool for ten minutes. Carve and serve.
