4 Tuna and Egg Salad
Tuna and egg salad does what it says on the tin: this is a mixture of tuna and egg, and of course we’re also adding a little spinach into the mix.
First make the dressing by mixing together some olive oil, some white wine vinegar, a pinch of salt, and the juice from a lemon. Next, take your tuna chunks and drain. It should be completely drained and plain when you’re done, and you’re then going to flake this into a bowl along with some spinach leaves. Add several halved eggs, and then use the dressing on top.
The result is something that is very filling, but also very healthy. Tuna, in particular, is one of the healthiest things you can add to your diet, being a fantastic source of omega 3 fatty acid, which helps to improve neural connections through support for the cell walls (a process called cell membrane permeability), better myelination, and reduced inflammation. Omega 3 does a host of other things too, among which is boosting the production of the hormone DHEA – which can help to combat stress, improve mood, build muscle, and much more!
