3 Greek Salad With Spinach
Greek salad is a salad that doesn’t traditionally need any leaves to go with it, and can instead be enjoyed simply as diced fruits and veg. However, you can add a few small leaves if you want to make it all the healthier and enjoy something that will provide some of the health benefits of spinach.
To make this one, you will take half a cucumber, half a red pepper, a handful of cherry tomatoes, and some feta cheese. You’re then going to cut the cucumber into thin slices, and then cut those slices in half. Next, cut the cherry tomatoes into halves or quarters, and cut the red bell pepper so that it is a similar size.
Now add a few cubes of feta cheese, and a handful of individual spinach leaves. Toss all of that together, and you’ll end up with a very tasty salad that also happens to be extremely healthy. After all, this does come from the Mediterranean diet: a diet that is famed for being incredibly healthy and for helping to lengthen the lifespans of many of the people who follow it.
